I am going to post a series of thoughts about interacting
and understanding young boys. I’m no
expert, but I’ve noticed some things along this crazy ride of being a mom to 3 little men. So, in case it could save someone else some head-scratching I’ll share them.
I watched, fascinated, as my first two kids, a girl and a
boy, turned one. Before this milestone,
my daughter had held a baby doll sweetly on her shoulder and loved on it. My son had made that “vroooom!” sound while pushing a car with his hand. I knew boys and girls were basically different, but I didn’t know how to respond and interact with my son based on this knowledge.
Interesting note: as I was thinking about these things, I was intrigued that the same lessons I’m learning about my sons are the lessons I’m learning as I grow to love and respect my husband more. So, in honor of the Respect Code that is intuitive to men, I will use Respect language in these posts. I hope you will be able to translate what these things mean to your Men as well as your Boys.
Welcome to my wanderings…

Enjoyed seeing your men do push-ups...especially the one that fell on his nose. =)
(Now y'all have us all curious WHAT commercial y'all are talking about. =)
Yes, I too am learning about boys and how they think. Each year I am learning more about respecting my Sweetheart. What a fun journey. =)
THANK YOU for all your sweet comments, thoughts and prayers, and hugs! =) I need them!
Blessings,
~Heather~
I don't even know what commercial he would have been talking about - he just had that sound in his voice that told me I didn't want it said on a video! :)
